COURSE:  WMGT 436 Operations Engineering

OBJECTIVE:  The objective of this course is for each student to comprehend Operations Engineering (CEOE) elements’ roles and assist the Operations Flight Chief in flight workforce integration & optimization.

DESCRIPTION:  This course focuses on how the Operations Engineering (CEOE) element supports the Operations Flight in: 1) Corrective Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, 2) Scheduling Workforce, 3) Prioritizing Work, 4) Preventive Maintenance & Corrective Maintenance analysis, 5) Activity Management, 6) Lifecycle Management, and 7) Asset Accountability & Inventory.

PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  CEOS/CC, CEOS personnel, Deputy Ops Chief

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  Operations Flight CC, CEO/CEP personnel, CE CGOs

GRADE:   CE officers, 5-level and above CE military personnel and civilian equivalents

PREREQUISITES:  Must be able to complete college level work

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Please note that the May 2015 offering will be on-site at Ramstein AB and is open ONLY to USAFE personnel; it offers 2.5 CEUs due to a revised curriculum.


COURSE CREDIT:  3 CEUs in compliance with IACET standards
