COURSE:  WMGT 416 Asset Management Course

OBJECTIVE:  The objective of this course is for each student to comprehend the functional and organizational responsibilities of the Asset Management flight and the use of activity management planning to manage the installation built and natural assets. Students will be able to apply asset management principles and practices to optimize installation natural and built infrastructure.

DESCRIPTION:  This course focuses on managerial and functional responsibilities needed to effectively and efficiently manage the Base Civil Engineer Asset Management Flights' efforts in the areas of: 1) Natural Resource Management, 2) Asset optimization and 3) Capital Asset Management

PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  Asset Management Flight Chiefs

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  CEA Element Chiefs; Deputy BCEs; Other CEA Personnel

GRADE:   Officers: Yes (O2-O5); Enlisted: Yes (E7-E9); Civilians: Yes (GS11-GS13)

PREREQUISITES:  Students must be able to complete upper level undergraduate course work.

DELIVERY METHOD:  Resident

COURSE CREDIT:  3 CEUs in compliance with IACET standards
