COURSE:  WMGT 417 Asset Management Optimization

OBJECTIVE:  The objective of this course is for each student to comprehend the roles & responsibilities of the Optimization Element of the Asset Management Flight. Students will comprehend and apply the tools, techniques and processes necessary to effectively manage natural and built assets to provide sustainable installations.

DESCRIPTION:  This course focuses on tools and techniques used in the optimization of installation natural and built infrastructure, and explains the role of the Asset Optimization Element in the overall Asset Management and Optimization process.

PRIMARY AUDIENCE:  CEA Optimization Element Chiefs

SECONDARY AUDIENCE:  Other CEA or CEP Personnel; MAJCOM Optimization Personnel

GRADE:   Officers: Yes (O1-O6); Enlisted: No; Civilians: Yes (GS9-GS-14)

PREREQUISITES:  Students must be able to complete upper level undergraduate course work.

DELIVERY METHOD:  Satellite (The 11 - 15 Feb 2013 Offering 13-C will be onsite at JBSA-Lackland. That offering will require Unit Funding) The 13D will be offered at Dover AFB

COURSE CREDIT:  3 CEUs
