Target Audience:
Analysts and researchers working in the intelligence field; specifically, MASINT analysts, algorithm and program developers, system instructors, MASINT users and collection managers, missile warning and missile defense analysts, and those working in planning, programming, and force modernization programs. Applicants should have a degree in engineering or physics with a strong background in mathematics or physics.
Program Format:
This program has nine components: a seminar component, four classroom courses, and four lab-based courses. Some the classroom courses are offered via web-based learning modules, which include interactive exercises and short video clips from classroom lectures. Others courses use recordings of live classroom settings. There are also live, weekly sessions that allow students to ask the AFIT instructor questions about assigned homework problems. The seminar course is a self-paced course consisting of topical videos with corresponding written assignments.
When to Start:
OENG 530 is the prerequisite course, so all students should plan to commence this program in the fall or spring quarters.

Courses and their corresponding labs (such as 530 and 536) can be taken in the same quarter.
Application Qualifications:
Prospective applicants are expected to have some demonstrable past, present, or impending connection to the intelligence community, or to an organization that supports intelligence efforts.
