Graduate Space Systems Certificate Program

Target Audience
Individuals with scientific or engineering backgrounds, involved in space research, development, test, evaluation, and operations. Active duty military, DoD civilians, and contractors may enroll. We anticipate that individuals and organizations is the Los Angeles, Albuquerque, Colorado Springs areas may be especially interested; nonetheless, this program is available to any qualified student.

Expected Completion Time
12 months, part-time.

Program Format
Four academic courses, one of which (ASYS 631) is a collaborative project-based course. Because of the collaborative project, it is preferable to have at least three or four students from the same organization or base taking the program together, although this is not a hard requirement.

When to Start
Due to prerequisites, students should plan to begin this program preferably in the summer with a possible fall start.

How to Apply
Prospective applicants are expected to have a Bachelor's Degree with a GPA of 3.0 or better, with courses in Calculus, Differential Equations, Calculus-based Physics, and Dynamical Systems.
