Active duty personnel who attend AFIT as a student are likely to find the assignment challenging and demanding, yet rewarding as well. 

Many of our faculty are (or were) active duty officers, giving AFIT an especially unique insight into the needs of our nation’s defense community, as we continue our quest for sustained aerospace superiority through the 21st century.

You can join us, by performing research as a student, or by facilitating research as a sponsoring organization.  Either way, AFIT’s singular blend of top-notch expertise and diversified yet specialized experience create an inspirational setting for technological progress.
