RESEARCH INTERESTS

My primary research area uses biotechnology for environmental applications related to water quality. Current projects focus on the biotransformation of organic chemicals, biosensing, and resource recovery. I also conduct research in advanced oxidation technologies, water infrastructure, and hyperspectral imaging. I teach courses related to water quality, microbiology, and environmental policy. I participate in a wide variety of professional service activities.
