Lt Col DeLuca's research interests span the spectrum of aerodynamics related disciplines. Specifically, the areas of low speed aerodynamics, wing design, laminar boundary layer theory and application, flapping wing aerodynamics, biomimetics & biomimicry of natural flight systems, micro air vehicles and their role in future ISR applications, and conventional weapons effects & external ballistics are included as some of his research areas of interest.
