The Office of Admissions informs interested individuals about graduate degree programs available at the Air Force Institute of Technology’s (AFIT) Graduate School of Engineering and Management, and processes all applications for admission, and for current students, all applications for change of enrollment. Applications are examined with regard to the student's breadth of education, preparation and fitness for graduate work in the proposed field of study, and expectation of scholarly attainment.

The Graduate School of Engineering and Management offers graduate degree education opportunities in programs designed to meet the stated needs of the Air Force and Department of Defense. Applicants for these degree programs are expected to have prepared for graduate study through previous undergraduate or graduate course work in science, mathematics, engineering, management, or business areas. Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the institution and be approved by the department in which they plan to study. Exact program lengths are dependent upon the applicant’s qualifications, and final decision for acceptance into any program and the required program length resides with the individual departments.
