Step 3 & 4: Registration & Payment

Registration:

The easiest way for DL students to register for their courses is to do so manually via this form. Be sure that the course you are registering for is in your program, and will be offered in the quarter for which you are registering.

These emailed registrations will be printed and hand-carried to the Registrar’s office at AFIT by Extension Services personnel. Your efforts to avoid last-minute registrations are greatly appreciated.

Payment:

AFIT tuition rates are subject to change, particularly at the start of each academic year.

There are several payment options:

  1. If the student’s organization is willing to pay for the education, tuition can be paid using an SF 182 (via a GPC check or Treasury check), a MIPR (or, alternatively, for USAF organizations, a MORD).

  2. If the student is paying for the education individually, tuition can be paid via a personal check, with a Tuition Assistance form (Form 1280), or with a combination of the two. Checks should be made out to “AFIT”.

Remittance should be sent to the AFIT Bursar (see address below). To ensure proper credit, include your contact information, as well as information about your program and course registration, with your remittance.
