If you are a prospective graduate student looking for a place to attend graduate school, we invite you to give us serious consideration. Our professors are not only very capable but personable. This, combined with our low student-to-faculty ratio, small classes, and easy accessibility of professors, provides an exceptional environment for earning a graduate degree in applied mathematics. We are focused on our graduate students and their success. Furthermore, while our students work on their master’s thesis or doctoral dissertation, they have the opportunity to make important contributions toward solving problems related to the nation’s defense, while, at the same time, establishing close contact with the many local research laboratories for future employment possibilities.
Although we are an Air Force organization, both military and civilian students attend. You do not need to be associated in any way with the Air Force to attend AFIT, but you do need to be a U.S. citizen. Otherwise, you need only be capable of graduate work and have an interest in studying applied mathematics. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to contact us.
