The Air Force Institute of Technology is currently engaged in an introspective examination of itself and the activity will culminate with an institutional self-study report. The report will be submitted to the HLC as part of the institution’s preparation for an accreditation reaffirmation visit in the fall of 2010.
 
Here you will find material developed for public consumption to support AFIT’s reaffirmation of accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Accreditation is a voluntary process. It provides an indication of institutional quality and reinforces the culture of continuous improvement which is an important aspect of maintaining high quality graduate programs that meet the needs of our constituents.
