CISER Hosts Cyber Education and Training Workshop

The Center for Information Security Education and Research (CISER), on behalf of the Eighth Air Force, hosted an Air Force Cyber Education and Training (E&T) workshop on the AFIT campus 9-12 January 2007. The Eighth Air Force has been designated by the Air Force Chief of Staff as the lead organization for standing up the Air Force Cyber Command.  With this designation comes the responsibility to develop a strategic plan to Organize, Train, and Equip (OT&E) cyber forces.  The January Cyber E&T workshop, the first of possibly many, brought together approximately 35 action officers from the operations, education, training, policy, doctrine, and personnel communities to formulate E&T force development courses of action for the AFCYBER Commander.
