COURSE: WHSS 302 Certified Defense Privatization Management - Level 3
OBJECTIVE: To provide insight into sustaining the privatization project vision through strategic planning, the personnel through mediation, negotiation, teamwork, integrity and Ethics. Sustaining the agreement through a better understanding of both public and private sector real estate and sustaining the asset by applying problem solving techniques and understanding project management as a discipline. DESCRIPTION: The course will concentrate on maintaining the relationships and sustaining the privatization project through the term of the ground lease. This training is designed to enable the Asset Manager to successfully develop the successive future generations and lay the groundwork for continued success. PRIMARY AUDIENCE: Housing Manager, Housing Asset Manager, Capital Asset Element Chief, Chief of Assistance, Chief of Facilities, Privatized Housing Program Manager, MAJCOM Housing Staff GRADE: GS-9 (or Equivalent) and above PREREQUISITES: Courses Must Be Taken Sequentially SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Upon approval by AFIT to attend the class, students are required to apply with the Military Housing and Lodging Institute for the course.
