COURSE: WHSS 310 Unaccompanied Housing Management
OBJECTIVE: To introduce and provide an in-depth review of the skills, techniques, and overall responsibilities to effectively manage the Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Program at an installation level. DESCRIPTION: The course is designed to provide UH Senior Airmen Dormitory Leaders the knowledge, skills and techniques required to effectively manage the Unaccompanied Housing Program at an installation. Instruction focuses on overall principles of the UH Management and leadership skills required for mentoring UH staff/residents. PRIMARY AUDIENCE: Air Force active duty or civilian personnel assigned to the position of UH Senior Airman Dormitory Leader/their Deputy. SECONDARY AUDIENCE: ADLs, Housing Asset Managers (Capital Asset Managers). GRADE: Target Grade is E7 or GS-9 (or Equivalent) and above PREREQUISITES: Minimum 3 months in the position (unless approved by waiver). Automated Civil Engineer Data Base (ACES-HM) Training, Information Assurance Training (IA) and Information Protection Training (IP). Frequency of attendance is every 3 yrs unless waivered.
