COURSE: WMGT 424 Real Property Management Course
OBJECTIVE: For each student to understand the concepts, principles, processes, and practices associated with the acquisition, management, accountability, and disposal of Air Force real property. DESCRIPTION: The curriculum focuses on the duties and responsibilities of the base level real property officer. It also focuses on the roles and interrelationships between Congress, the Secretary of the Air Force, Headquarters Air Force, MAJCOM, the Corps of Engineers, and the General Services Administration. Basic real property principles and general management topics are also included to increase the student's ability to function effectively as a member of the civil engineer squadron. PRIMARY AUDIENCE: Base Level Real Property Office staff, or equivalent SECONDARY AUDIENCE: MAJCOM Equivalent, Real Property element supervisor/flight chief/Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE), Functional Area Staff (FAS), Resources Flight Chief GRADE: No restrictions PREREQUISITES: No restrictions, but students must be able to complete upper level undergraduate course work.
