Research Interests:

Dr. Richard Martin has been at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, since August 2004, where he is now an Associate Professor. AFIT students have voted him "Instructor of the Quarter" (three times) for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Eta Kappa Nu Instructor of the Year (twice). His research interests include source localization; navigation via signals of opportunity; equalization for multicarrier communication systems; blind, adaptive algorithms; sparse adaptive filters; and laser radar image enhancement. He has authored 25 journal papers, 50 conference papers, 1 book chapter, and 5 patents. His publications have been cited over 250 times (excluding self-citations).
