Dr. Schubert Kabban's research interest and background span a wide range of statistical application including: 1) techniques for classification and classification system performance, 2) ROC curve theory and extensions including optimal points, 3) development of truncated distributions and statistical tests for systems with a minimum or maximum level of detection, 4) information fusion, 5) longitudinal modeling including mixed and random effects models, general regression and regression extensions such as DOE, 6) survey design and analysis, and 7) general biostatistics. Currently, Dr Schubert Kabban has active projects involving health monitoring systems, classification system (including remote sensing) performance, ROC extensions to improve system performance as well as several epidemiological projects related to disease prediction and medical diagnostics.
