My goal is to improve the OM models by including the consideration of behavioral issues and to increase the use of experimentation in Operations Management research. To that end I helped organize the Behavioral Operations Management Section of INFORMS and participate in the College of Human Behavior in Operations Management of POMS. I have been one of the principal organizers of an annual conference on Behavioral Operations. I am also co-editor of a special issue of the Journal of Operations Management. I have been invited to speak as several conferences and seminars on this theme in United States and Europe.
