Research Interests:

My research uses biotechnology for environmental applications related to water quality. I am interested in the detection and removal of pollutants and I am interested in using wastes as resources. Current projects focus on the biotransformation of micro-contaminants, biosensing, and environmental sustainability. I teach courses related to environmental quality and I participate in a variety of service activities.
