Solid State Physics: Photoluminescence (PL), absorption, Raman, and magnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy leading to identification of point defects in semiconducting and optical materials; PL excitation and time-resolved PL spectroscopies; nonlinear optical materials; laser-host materials; scintillators.
