Problem: Shortage of Competent MASINT S&Es
Concept: Cost Sharing (Government & Industry)
Approach: Leverage Capabilities of Each
One Approach:
- Government Funded "Rider" to Certificate Program
- Company Hires "Entry-Level Engr" Using their HR Dept
- Part-Time (20 Hr/Wk) Including Company Benefit Package
- Leverage DAGSI Scholarship Program
- AFIT is the Home School and Student Works for me UNTIL…
- Once Cleared, Students Will Work on Classified MASINT
- Collaboration With NAIC/DXM & AFRL/SN Mission Areas
- Work as "Interns" for Key Mentors (Gov/Contractor)
- Thesis/Dissertation is AFIT/Contractor/Gov Agreeable Project
Another Approach:
- Company Hires "Entry-Level Engr" Using Their HR Dept
- Company Funds for New Hires (Labor Hours Against Current Contract or Overhead)
- Part-Time (20 Hr/Wk) Including Company Benefit Package
- Leverage DAGSI Scholarship Program
- AFIT is the Home School (Strongly Encouraged)
- Student Attends ACP program
- Student Works MASINT Projects From Start
- If Student is Attending AFIT, Coordination Strongly Encouraged
- Thesis/Dissertation is Company’s Except if Student is Attending AFIT
