Center for Technical Intelligence Studies and Research (CTISR)
AFIT INSPIRE Volunteers
Participation in this research will involve video and audio taping of your participation in a walking exercise. Your time commitment to complete this study is a minimum of one visit/recording, lasting one to two hours per recording.

All participants must be U.S. Citizens, able-bodied, and capable of walking short distances (less than 1000 ft) on various surfaces to include cement, grass, sand, gravel, stairs (standard rise/run) and inclined surfaces (less than 10 deg angle of inclination). Participants must be able to carry a weighted vest, up to 12 pounds while walking short distances. Participants should be 18 years or older, with a valid form of identification. There are no gender restrictions. Pregnant females will be excluded to avoid any chance of back or neck strain from wearing the weighted vest. The maximum weight capacity of the walking platform is 300lbs. To ensure participants safety during the study, the participant’s weight cannot exceed 275 lbs in body weight prior to the addition of the 6-12 lb weighted vest. The participant’s weight will be taken prior to the recording with a calibrated scale.

Please contact our Office with your phone number and email address if you are interested in volunteering.
