AFIT DL courses rely on internet technologies mostly, streamable downloadable lectures, and interactive webinars. Theoretically, the only hardware requirements are a telephone, and internet-capable computer with a high-speed connection. However, students should be prepared to work around various challenges that may be encountered, such as compatibility issues, CAC-access for the AFIT network, etc.
Courses are offered in conjunction with the AFIT academic calendar. However, most of the work can be done as scheduled by the student (although many courses may require or encourage attendance at a live, 1-hour weekly webinar).
Prospective applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree. Once accepted, DL tuition rates apply.
