The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers graduate education in the areas listed below. Degree requirements are common across the AFIT Graduate School of Engineering and Management and must be met for each program, generally totaling 48 credit hours. Program and department requirements vary depending on student status. Our Master's degree level programs in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering are also accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).

Graduate Programs

Doctoral Program
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science . The application process varies depending on whether the student is sponsored by the Air Force on a full-time basis or will be working under a research grant or scholarship.
