AFIT is a Cadence University Program Member

Cadence Design Systems tools (Custom IC, Digital IC, and Verification) are used in the following courses within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering:

  • EENG 596 - Integrated Circuit Technology
  • EENG 653 - Introduction to VLSI Design
  • EENG 795 – Advanced Topics in VLSI Systems

Cadence Design Systems tools (Custom IC, Digital IC, SPB/PCB, and Verification) are used in various projects within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Projects in this research area include:

  • Computer-aided Design Theory
  • Gallium Arsenide Circuit Design
  • New VLSI architectural concepts
