The Advanced Navigation Technology (ANT) Center at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has been focusing significant effort on solving the problem of how to navigate when GPS is not available, such as indoors or in the presence of GPS jamming. Anything that changes with position is a potential measurement source.
AFIT RIGEX Experiment Flies Aboard Space Shuttle - June 2008
AFIT students from the Graduate School’s Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics recently launched their flight hardware experiment aboard Shuttle mission, STS‐123. RIGEX represents the first‐ever designed/built/ qualified space flight experiment for AFIT.
