CBRN RESEARCH COLLABORATION:
Welcome to the Air Force Institute of Technology’s (AFIT's) Department of Systems and Engineering Management (ENV) home page for CBRN Research Collaboration. This web page was established to further collaborative efforts regarding detection and response to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events. The goal is to create synergy between researchers and practitioners to improve the efforts of first responders and on-scene decision-making. This effort plans to bring together three key fields -- medical, first response, and information technology -- to design a usable tool to facilitate responses to CBRN events.

The American Board of Industrial Hygiene has awarded Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIHs) certification maintenance (CM) points for attending the 2007 AFIT/ENV CBRN Symposium held 6-7 Sep 07. Attendees are eligible for 0.5 points per half-day, up to a maximum of 1.5 points for the entire symposium. The approval number is 07-2844 IH.
