Ms. Susan Thornton, SES, Selected as Keynote Speaker for AFIT's 2013 National Engineers Week Luncheon
AFIT is extremely proud to once again participate in National Engineers Week (NEW). The theme for 2013 is "Celebrate Awesome"!
Join us for the keynote address and luncheon to kick-off AFIT's 2013 NEW. This year, Ms. Susan Thornton will talk about her experiences with mentoring and how to inspire and mentor future generations of STEM professionals.
Ms. Thornton, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Director of Engineering and Technical Management for AFMC. In addition, she has held positions in AFRL and ASC. Among her career highlights, she was the Chief Engineer for the Airborne Laser Program and the MC-130H "Combat Talon II."
