Contractor Application Procedures

DoD Support Contractor Application Procedures for Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) School of Systems and Logistics (LS) Professional Continuing Education (PCE) Courses:

1. Thank you for your interest in requesting attendance to attend one of our Professional Continuing Education Courses. This package was developed to make your registration and enrollment application process as simple as possible.
2. Employees of companies or corporations under contract to the Armed Services may attend AFIT/LS resident continuing education course offerings, on a "space available tuition pay" basis, if either of the following conditions applies:
3. Included in this packet are samples of the documents, letter and statements, needed to process your request for contractor training at the School of Systems and Logistics.
   
   Please check this web page or contact the School at (COM/DSN) 937 / 785 - 255-7777, ext. 3269 or 3236 for any updates and changes to this PCE request process. Forward / Fax (COM/DSN) 937 / 785 - 255-8458, completed application package to:

4. The next step in the process after submission is coordination and approval with the Academic Department Head and Course Director to ensure "seat space is available" to accept your application. Applicants will receive feedback from our Student Operations Office confirming status, (approve/disapprove) as a "space available tuition pay" student for the specific PCE offering and course requested.
5. When selection is made, a check made payable to "DFAS-DE" must be forwarded to the following address:

   NOTE: Annotate check with AFIT/LS PCE, Course Number, and Offering Code - i.e., "AFIT/LS-PCE-SYS149-04C". A tuition cost analysis has determined charges for resident only AFIT/LS PCE course offerings to be $172.00 per class, per day. Applicants are advised to calculate their total tuition fee requirements for their specific course offering for remittance to AFIT/FM, prior to making travel plans and attending the PCE.
6. The Air Force Institute of Technology, School of Systems and Logistics is proud, as well as pleased, to be able to offer our PCE Courses to defense contractors on a "space available tuition pay" basis.
