Resource Availability

To determine the availability of an AFIT resource, such as a conference room or auditorium, follow these steps.

Note: You must have an AFIT network account and be logged into the AFIT network to view resource availability.

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook. 
  2. Click Calendar on the Mail Folders toolbar.
  3. Using the Outlook menus at the top of your screen, click on File, Open, Other User's Folder.
    • The Open Other User's Folder window is displayed.



  4. Click on Name.
    • The Select Name window is opened.
  5. Select the AFIT Resources address list from the Show Names box in the Select Name window.
    • The AFIT Resources list is displayed.
  6. Click on the AFIT resource whose calendar of availability you want to view. In this example, we have selected Kenney Hall. Click on OK.
    • The Open Other User's Folder window is redisplayed with data filled in.
  7. Click on OK.
    • The calendar for the AFIT resource you selected is displayed, showing the resource usage that has been scheduled. In this example, the Kenney Hall calendar is displayed.   



  8. Use the Calendar toolbar to select the calendar format you prefer, and use the scrollbar to move to the desired date.
