Resource Availability
To determine the availability of an AFIT resource, such as a conference room or auditorium, follow these steps.
Note: You must have an AFIT network account and be logged into the AFIT network to view resource availability.
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Click Calendar on the Mail Folders toolbar.
- Using the Outlook menus at the top of your screen, click on File, Open, Other User's Folder.
- The Open Other User's Folder window is displayed.
- Click on Name.
- The Select Name window is opened.
- Select the AFIT Resources address list from the Show Names box in the Select Name window.
- The AFIT Resources list is displayed.
- Click on the AFIT resource whose calendar of availability you want to view. In this example, we have selected Kenney Hall. Click on OK.
- The Open Other User's Folder window is redisplayed with data filled in.
- Click on OK.
- The calendar for the AFIT resource you selected is displayed, showing the resource usage that has been scheduled. In this example, the Kenney Hall calendar is displayed.
- Use the Calendar toolbar to select the calendar format you prefer, and use the scrollbar to move to the desired date.
