Course Information

Cyberspace 300 is an advanced Professional Continuing Education (PCE) course designed for the development of cyberspace professionals for current and future challenges and facilitates the transition from an operational to a strategic mindset.  Students will learn how to articulate, integrate, and apply cyberspace capabilities at the strategic level across full spectrum operations and joint multi-domain environments.  Course curriculum is structured to advance application of doctrinal planning principles, evaluate the organization, training, and equipping of cyberspace forces, and to articulate threats, risks, and opportunities within the cyberspace environments.

Upon completion of the course students will be able to:

• Describe facets of AF, Joint, Interagency, whole-of-nation & multinational cyberspace power.
• Apply mission analysis to support cyberspace planning and operations.
• Articulate and advocate the strategic effects of cyberspace capabilities to mission partners.
• Analyze the full spectrum of Cyber Operations.
• Analyze how cyberspace doctrine and strategy contribute to national security objectives and recommend future guidance.
• Analyze the relationship between cyberspace and intelligence.
• Integrate USAF cyber operations into the strategic and Joint force operations.
• Evaluate the cybersecurity risks and unique design considerations of information systems, platform information technology, and IT products and services.
• Leverage personal experiences/understanding to grow/develop USAF cyberspace capabilities.

17X officers will wear the Master Cyber Badge after graduation of Cyberspace 300 and completion of 15 years of cyberspace operations duty.

·   Majors and Lt Cols with
12-15 years commissioned TIS

 

Enlisted

·   U.S. citizen

·   SMSgt/SMSgt selects,

           MSgts with 14-18 TIS,            TSgts with 14-18 TIS

·   Minimum 72 months of cyberspace experience

Civilian

·   U.S. citizen

·   In a cyberspace operations or acquisition position

·   Minimum 72 months cyberspace experience

Sister Services

·   U.S. citizen

·   Equivalent rank

·   In a cyberspace related position

·   Minimum 72 months cyberspace experience


Notes

Joint Staff J7 awards 2 Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) points after graduation.
Cyberspace 200 may not be taken after Cyberspace 300.
