Lt Col Duncan has research experience with Machine Learning approaches and methods related to Natural Language Processing with application to the challenges associated with Information Retrieval.
His recently published research demonstrates the results of an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing and developing rigorous system designs to address complex problems. This work incorporates concepts and insights from human factors, cognitive systems engineering research areas, and computer science fundamentals to address the challenges facing search and information retrieval tasks.
His operational experience includes planning, executing, and leading joint military operations involving Communications and Information Management, Cyberspace Operations, and Signals Intelligence.
