Greg Gutterman is a Course Director and Instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology's School of Systems and Logistics, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. He orchestrates day-to-day operations for the creation, execution, and evaluation of the in-development Workshop (WKSP) 730, Case Studies in Acquisition course. He also is an instructor for the acquisition badge qualifying initial skills familiarization (FAM) training course for officers in the 61, 62, and 63 AFSCs as well as new civilians in the 1101 job series.
Greg was commissioned in 1989 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He began his career as an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Technical Engineer in the 321st Strategic Missile Wing, Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. He then transitioned into the program management profession and held a variety of assignments across the entire acquisition life cycle and every product line in the Air Force Materiel Command: electronics, weapons, and aircraft. He has experience across the entire Defense Acquisition System, including requirements, programming, and foreign military sales. He holds professional certifications in Program Management, Acquisition Logistics, Engineering, and International Affairs.
Prior to coming to AFIT, Greg was a private-sector Executive Vice President at a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
