Michael Mike Eonta

Mr. Michael “Mike” Eonta is a Course Director and Instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology, School of Systems and Logistics (AFIT/LS), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. In this role, he delivers professional continuing education to military and civilian personnel from across the Air Force Acquisition and Sustainment Enterprise. Additionally, he orchestrates day-to-day operations for the creation, delivery, and evaluation of logistics courses for both live and distance learning venues. Furthermore, he is a liaison for student and faculty issues, including academic advising, curriculum development, budgeting, and appraisal.

Mr. Eonta is a logistician by trade. Enlisting in the Ohio Air National Guard in 2001 and transferring to the Air Force Reserve in 2013, he brings a wealth of applicable Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Air Transportation experience to his curriculum. Likewise, as the 87th Aerial Port Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader, he integrates relevant knowledge and leadership in the classroom. A civil servant since 2010, he’s supported multiple Program Offices, to include Requirements & Capabilities Integration, F-15, Big Safari, Sensors Division, and Medium Altitude Unmanned Aireal Systems in the capacity of Budget Analyst, Cost Estimator, Life Cycle Logistician, and Weapon System Liaison Officer for both USAF, and Foreign Military Sales initiatives. He joined AFIT in 2023 to execute the educational priorities of AFMC/A5.
