Jodi McCallum

JODI E. MCCALLUM is an instructor and member of the contracting faculty at AFIT. She has been a member of the acquisition workforce for over 15 years and has worked in a variety of roles in the contracting career field including contract specialist, contracting officer and quality assurance program coordinator. As a member of the contracting faculty in AFIT/LSB, she serves as a subject-matter expert for Contracting and performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities that include carrying out instruction, curriculum development, administration, research, and consultation in support of the AFIT mission to educate defense professionals. She is principally responsible to instruct the Mission Ready Contracting course (MRC 103), the Air & Space Force’s badge-awarding course for contracting professionals. This five-week hybrid course is given to over 500 acquisition professionals each year and is required for all new officer accessions and select civilians.

Additionally, she is a course director and instructor of SYS 166, Interest Based Negotiations, a traveling course which is designed to develop students’ interest-based negotiation skills.

Ms. McCallum is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy and the New Mexico Army National Guard prior to joining the Department of the Air Force in 2008.
