Mr. Erik Olsen is an Instructor at the Air Force Institute of Technology's School of Systems and Logistics, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. He orchestrates day-to-day operations for the creation, execution, and evaluation of logistics courses for both live and distance learning venues.
Erik is a retired Navy Supply Officer. He has served as a Supply Officer onboard the USS McInerney (FFG-8) and USS Stephen W. Groves (FFG-29) where he deployed to Central and South America, North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and middle east. He also deployed to the CENTCOM DDOC at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in support of OIF. Erik’s shore duties included the Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, PR, Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA, the Afloat Training Group Mayport, FL, and the Defense Security Cooperation University at Wright Patterson AFB. As an Airman, Erik was a Logistics Specialist for the F-16 sale to Iraq and the MQ-9 sale to the UK at both AFSAC and the program offices.
