Lieutenant Colonel Johanna O’Toole is Director, Advanced Logistics Readiness Officer Course, School of Systems and Logistics, Air Force Institute of Technology located at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. As Course Director, she oversees curriculum development, management and instruction for Headquarters Air Force Directorate of Logistics, Engineering & Force Protection’s senior Logistics Readiness Officer professional development course, producing 32 graduates annually vectored to fill over 120 Joint Duty Assignment Listing positions across 11 geographic and functional combatant commands.
Lieutenant Colonel O’Toole earned her commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Boston University in 2006. She has served in various positions at the squadron and group levels, including commanding the 97th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma and the 345th Training Squadron, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia.
Lieutenant Colonel O’Toole has deployed three times in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, proving logistics support to the Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF)-101, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan (CSTC-A) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Training Mission-Afghanistan (NTM-A).
