LIEUTENANT COLONEL JAMES S. GREENWOOD
Lt Col James S. Greenwood is the Deputy Director, Advanced Logistics Readiness Officer Course, with the Air Force Institute of Technology’s School of Systems and Logistics and Army Sustainment University, Fort Lee, Virginia. As the Deputy Director, he supervises course curriculum development, management, and instruction for Headquarters Air Force's senior Logistics Readiness Officer professional development special program. In this role, Lt Col Greenwood equips 21R Field Grade Officers to lead, plan, and advocate for joint logistics at the operational and strategic levels.
Lt Col Greenwood is a 2008 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. He is a career Logistics Readiness Officer, with his previous assignments including Vandenberg Space Force Base, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, U.S. Army Garrison-Yongsan, and Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. He has deployed to Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, and to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to his current position, he was the Commander, 436th Logistics Readiness
Squadron, Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.
