Mr. Winn Holcombe is a Course Instructor for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) School of Systems and Logistics at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. As Course Instructor, he teaches Life Cycle Risk Management and Management of the Systems Engineering Process. As Course Director, he manages two continuing education courses, Introduction to Life Cycle Risk Management and Introduction to Systems Engineering.
Prior to his current assignment in AFIT/LS, Mr. Holcombe was an electronics engineer, plans and programs engineer, and aerospace engineer for Air Force intelligence conducting systems analysis on foreign unmanned aerial vehicles, aircraft, and ballistic missiles. Mr. Holcombe is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio prior to which he was a structural engineer of mobile hydraulic cranes and a mechanical engineer in industrial hydraulic pumps.
