Captain Christopher D. Ball is a Course Director for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) School of Systems and Logistics at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. As Course Director, he teaches and manages continuing education courses for the Software Professional Development Program. This program covers the software development process from requirements to sustainment.
Prior to his current assignment in AFIT/LS, Capt Ball earned his Master’s in Software Engineering at AFIT, with a focus in Artificial Intelligence. He also served as a developmental engineer for both the Multiple Mission Satellite Operations Center (MMSOC) and the Airborne Laser missile defense program.
