Shane Grosso is the Director for Nuclear Command and Control and Communications Education at the Louisiana Tech Research Institute (LTRI), a non-profit partnership that connects Louisiana Tech University with the Department of Defense. LTRI provides external partner expertise required to rapidly develop and deliver a tailored and ever- evolving professional development experience. This includes addressing strategic leadership, deterrence and nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) thought, education, and applied research needs of Air Force Global Strike Command.
Chief Master Sergeant Shane Grosso retired from the Air Force in May 2019 after 25-years of service culminating as the Senior Enlisted Leader, Air Force Global Strike Command Directorate of Operations and Communications. Within the nuclear enterprise, he dedicated 14 years’ service specializing in nuclear command and control at Whiteman, Barksdale, Incirlik and finally Ramstein as USAFE’s command post functional manager. His educational accomplishments include a teaching practicum, a Master Instructor certification through Air Education and Training Command and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management and Leadership.
