Capt Evan Fortney is a Project Management instructor in the Department of Engineering Management. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. Capt Fortney spent two years as a project manager in the 718th CES at Kadena AB, Okinawa, then spent the following year as the Executive Officer for the 18th CEG before receiving his Master of Science in Graduate Engineering Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology with a focus on Construction Management and airfield pavement life-cycle analysis. Capt Fortney's professional interests are in Rapid Airfield Damage Repair and effective Project Management techniques. Personally, Capt Fortney likes to woodwork and spend time with his wife and children.
