Current
book list for classes is found here (link). Students are financially responsible for
acquiring any textbooks they need. This
is standard for higher education institutions.
Students may check with their class instructor and the library prior to
purchasing books since some material may be available/provided.
Form
35 is a long lead item that needs to be accomplished for access to the computer
networks. Instructions are found in the
In-Processing Student Guide (link).
AFIT
has no addition guidance beyond AFI36-3003.
There is a paragraph on Parental leave in the Student Handbook (link). Students should read the guidance and discuss
any questions with leadership. AFIT
degrees are on a tight schedule and long sections of leave may put the student
into a situation that inhibits their ability to graduate in the set time. Recommend that students engage with
leadership early and have a plan on how leave will be used. Please note AFI36-3003 Section 2.3 “Leave is
a right; however, unit commanders can disapprove leave requests due to military
necessity or in the best interest of the Air Force.”
