Graduate Assistants play a crucial role in enhancing the
productivity of AFIT classrooms and labs while serving the AFIT mission by
performing advanced research in AFIT labs or providing technical instruction in
AFIT classes. AFIT offers exceptional academic and research experiences for
students who have completed at least a bachelor's degree, preparing them to make
meaningful contributions while pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in
critical technical areas. This position not only strengthens the AFIT mission but
also provides invaluable opportunities for academic growth, career development,
and professional advancement. Qualified candidates have excellent communication
skills, a relevant undergraduate degree, and U.S. citizenship.
Graduate Assistants may be employed in research or teaching roles, depending on department or center needs and sponsor funding.
