Michael Shearer

Michael Shearer is Chief of Distance Learning at The Civil Engineer School, Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. His primary job is operating and managing the two Distance Learning Studios.

Mr. Shearer is a graduate of the Wright State University Motion Picture Production program. In college, he produced several films. One of them was selected to play at film festivals in Chicago, New York, Montreal (Canada) and London (England).

Before joining public service, Mr. Shearer was a commercial producer/filmmaker. He has produced hundreds of commercials and promotional videos. He has worked for NBC, The WB, The CW and the Jeff Wyler Automotive Family. He also co-owned a wedding film company and taught filmmaking at Cincinnati State Community College.
