David Reagan

Dave Reagan is an instructor and a member of the contracting faculty at AFIT. He has been a member of the acquisition workforce for over 23 years and has worked in a variety of roles in the contracting, logistics and program management career fields including contract specialist, contracting officer, contracting officer representative, security assistant program manager and logistics management specialist. He previously served as a professor of contract management at DAU. As a member of the contracting faculty in AFIT/LSB, he performs a wide variety of duties and responsibilities that include carrying out instruction, curriculum development, administration, research, and consultation in support of the AFIT mission to educate defense professionals. He is principally responsible to instruct the Mission Ready Contracting course (MRC 103), the Air & Space Force’s badge-awarding course for contracting professionals. This five-week hybrid course is given to over 500 acquisition professionals each year and is required for all new military accessions and select civilians.

Mr. Reagan is originally from Boston, MA. He entered the Navy in July 1992 as an enlisted interior communications electrician. He completed four years on active duty including two deployments to the middle east while stationed on the USS America. He later joined the Air Force Reserve in October 2002, serving in a variety of enlisted positions including supply management specialist, unit training manager and first sergeant. He was commissioned as a first lieutenant into the Air Force Medical Service Corps (MSC) in 2017 and currently is a medical readiness officer in the 445th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, WPAFB OH.
