Captain Huffman serves as an instructor in data analytics and logistics, leveraging a background in operations research and aircraft fleet management. He provides instruction on data analytical methods and tools, ranging from introductory to advanced levels, to all USAF/USSF enlisted, officer, and civilian personnel.
Captain Huffman is an aircraft maintenance officer with experience on the F-22 and F-15E. He has served in four different squadrons and three wings including the Director of Operations for the 94th Fighter Generation Squadron and Officer-in-Charge of the 1st Maintenance Group, Maintenance Operations, Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology with a Master’s degree in Operations Research. Prior to his current position, Captain Huffman was the Executive Officer for the 1st Fighter Wing. In this capacity, he enables 1 FW leadership by engaging with higher headquarters, five joint base mission partners, and ten subordinate units comprised of over 2,100 personnel. He directs policies to assist operations of the Air Force's premier flying hour program valued at $750M and executed by 83 F-22 and 31 T-38 aircraft.
