Lt Col Christopher Clawson

Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Clawson is Branch Head, J4 Future Plans at NATO Joint Force Command Brunssum, Brunssum, Netherlands. Responsibilities include operations and exercise support, coordinating real life support for HQ events across all divisions and the 32 multinational NATO members, and wartime logistical planning and exercise execution.

Lieutenant Colonel Clawson entered the Air Force in May 2010 through the United States Air Force Academy. He completed Logistics Readiness Officer training later that year and has held a variety of logistics related positions. Lieutenant Colonel Clawson has worked at based level Logistics Readiness Squadrons, multiple staff assignments and executive officer positions. Prior to his current position, Lieutenant Colonel Clawson was the Director of Operations for the War Reserve Materiel program, Detachment 6, AFCENT/A4, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.

During his time at Air Force Global Strike Command, he was the program manager for Financial Audit and Improvement Remediation, overseeing 8 subareas under A4 purview. While in Qatar, Major Clawson participated in activities across Al Udeid Air Base during the ALLIES REFUGE evacuation of civilians from Afghanistan.
