OBJECTIVE:  The objective of this seminar is for students to know the key requirements of the Hazardous Material Management Process (HMMP) and how it impacts the use of hazardous materials in the workplace.

DESCRIPTION:  This seminar will consist of lessons important to personnel across the installation that use or manage hazardous materials. Specific topics covered will be:1) an overview of key regulations that manage hazardous materials, 2)an overview of the Air Force Manual (AFMan) 32-7002, Chp 3.Hazardous Materials Management, 3) identification of a hazardous material, 4) proper storage of hazardous materials, and 5) the authorization process for use of a hazardous material.
